Review Lenovo Laptop: Lenovo G460

Lenovo G series line of value-owned company that targets entry-level crowd with basic entertainment notebook. Although not the cheapest machine in the town of I3, a combination of discrete graphics performance and value-added features make the Lenovo G460 one of the most popular laptops on the market.
Upside: At 34.4mm thick, it is slightly thinner than its predecessor, Lenovo G450, but still retains a sturdy frame. In fact, Lenovo G460 is slightly larger frame makes it a little harder because of thick plastic chassis.

The 14-inch LED-backlit screen has a resolution of 1366 x 768 which is equivalent to others in this category. According to Lenovo, the screen G460 has a low light transmission, which means less annoying reflections in bright conditions. It's still not as good as a matte display, although the latter are usually found on more expensive machines company. The underlying graphics is powered by the Nvidia GeForce 512MB G310M discrete chipset, which gives the engine more spirit when it comes to rendering video and casual games.


One of the most important aspects of computing on-the-go is the battery life. To this end, Chinese enterprises have been equipped with a proprietary system G460 Lenovo Energy Management 5.0, which tweaks the laptop power consumption and extends uptime. The fan is also dynamically controlled by the temperature of the system and make the engine quieter when watching movies.


To facilitate backup and recovery system, Lenovo's OneKey Rescue System G460 sport that allows users to store incremental backups of data. This feature is also important should a notebook become infected with the virus because it can restore the operating system to a state final work is not infected.Integrated webcam serve a function other than videoconferencing. Using VeriFace software, users can log in by just looking at the camera. Laptop will detect different features of the images taken and determine whether there is unauthorized access is attempted. The Lenovo G460 benefits of a PC full of promise with limited price. G460 has WLAN, WIMAX, Bluetooth, HDMI output, VGA out. This product also equipped with low-end NVIDIA graphics card, and 2.1 GHz CPU. Minus side with this device is trackpad complicated jumps and delay response.

Minus: Though slimmer than its predecessor, Lenovo G460 significantly heavier at 2.55kg, which is usually middle-heavyweight laptop sports 15-inch screen or larger. In addition, the trackpad is a simple one-touch business, which lags the trend multitouch. Quite low audio quality, finger print magnet lid


Plus: Though possibly not the cheapest laptop around, additional features and strong chassis G460 Lenovo makes a good buy for those who want just a little more from their laptops. Price, i3 Core processor, HDMI out, bright screen, bluetooth, WiMax.
